I have always had a passion for the arts, but growing up I found that I struggled to find the medium that truly allowed me to project the images in my head. That all changed when I received a job opportunity in Asheville, North Carolina in 2015. With no connections in the area, I decided to take a beginner's class in ceramics at The Village Potters. The moment I felt the clay move through my hands on the wheel, I knew I had found my medium.

I was immediately hooked and knew I wanted to immerse myself in the world of ceramics. I continued to take classes and eventually applied to an Independent Study and Mentoring program, where I was able to gain studio access seven days a week. I spent the next two years honing my skills in coil, slab, hand building, wheel throwing, glaze mixing, and firing kilns. Since then, I have settled into my own home studio and I am excited to take my work to the next level. My relationship with clay is more fulfilling than I ever thought. I am still growing, learning, and discovering, and I hope you all continue to enjoy a showcase of my passion.
